Sport Autonomous Scuba Diver – Armada de Chile
Get your certification of Sport Autonomous Scuba Diver DGTM if you want to start in scuba diving world.
This license will prepare you to scuba diving in sea with a great personality (with sea current, low temperatures, low visibility, etc).
Why DGTM – Armada de Chile?
As a Autonomous Scuba Diver DGTM, you will have the freedom of scuba diving without direct instructor supervision up to 57 m underwater, however with safety and self-care, we recommend to scuba diving up to 35m.
What are requirements?
Physical conditions able to do this sport supported by a medical certificate. The minimum age is 16 years, with a lot of passion for appreciation and willing to know this fascinating world.
What I’m going to learn?
The topics of the courses we can highlight the following:
Theory:
Diving physics, diving oriented
Physiology, diving oriented
First Aid oriented diving
Decompression tables and not DESCOMOPRESIÓN
Among others.
Practical:
Floatage control
Rescue equipment
Deep Scuba Diving
Shipwreck Scuba Diving
Among others;
How long?
The course is taught in 42 hours, where 30 of them are theory and 12 are in open waters. We are available to adapt the schedule with possibility to do it in 3 to 4 weekends or during the week.

This course consists of 8 immersions obtaining the skills previously mentioned, where you can feel new underwater adventures highlighting different scuba diving’s, for instance, Shipwreck scuba diving, observation of flora and fauna scuba, among others.
